Abu Dhabi Equine & Camel Hospital (ADECH), an advanced equine & camel referral center located in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, UAE, is nearing completion and looking for enthusiastic and motivated trail-blazers to join its team. The first of its kind, the hospital will be open for all horses and camels in the UAE and wider Gulf region. It will be equipped with the latest advancements in veterinary technology to ensure you will have access to the best resources to provide top-notch surgical care, including CT-scan, nuclear scintigraphy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. The hospital will have dedicated isolation facilities, several operating theaters, a podiatry unit, and lameness examination areas. It will be equipped to offer a variety of specialized services including internal medicine, neonatology & intensive care, surgery, sports medicine & rehabilitation. An on-site veterinary diagnostic laboratory, and dedicated necropsy facilities, will also provide support to the hospital. Will you come and join us? ADECH is seeking applicants for a full-time position in equine & camel internal medicine to join our team of highly skilled professionals who share your commitment to providing compassionate and unparalleled care to our animal patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team to develop and grow a new world-class dual-species surgical facility. We are looking for a team player to work alongside our multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. The successful candidates will be expected to provide both elective and emergency/out-of-hours internal medicine services for all horses & camels presenting to ADECH. For interested candidates, there will be the possibility for collaborative research and educational opportunities with local academic institutions. Requirements: Minimum requirements include 5 years’ work experience in large animal/equine internal medicine, with camel experience an advantage, along with a veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) and relevant board certification/eligibility or similar proven record of specialization.
