Fixed-term (or Permanent) Equine Internal Medicine Specialist in Auckland, New Zealand

Veterinary Associates Equine is looking for a second board-eligible or board-certified equine internist to join our team in either a fixed-term or permanent role. The position is designed to offer assistance in the shared care of our medicine and critical care caseload and to provide support for all members of the practice and is to replace a valued team member who is moving back to her hometown. Teaching and mentoring are a large part of the role. We offer a yearlong internship with our interns rotating between surgery, medicine, and field services. In addition, we provide one and two-week long externship rotations to the Massey veterinary students during their final year.

A vehicle is provided, and a competitive salary will be commensurate with experience and includes shared emergency fees. In addition, paid licensure, a CE/CPD budget, cell phone package, and paid professional liability are all part of the benefits package.
