POSTDOC / PhD student (100%) for the project: ‘Swiss Vettriage System’ - teletriage for animals

This pilot project will establish the prerequisites for a veterinary teletriage system for animal owners of small animals (dogs and cats), equines and ruminants. The primary objective of this project is to develop an extensive, structured question database. This database will be instrumental in remotely evaluating and determining the urgency of an animal's health condition. Our goal is helping owners on whether immediate in-person veterinary care is needed for their animal or if the situation can be managed at home. Furthermore, the vettriage system aims to support the veterinary emergency services by only directing genuine emergencies to the relevant practices and clinics.
