Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Equine Internal Medicine Specialist at The Equine Hospital located in Riyadh. As an Equine Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex medical cases in horses, with a primary focus on emergency and critical care. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in teaching and mentoring interns and veterinary students, passing on your knowledge and expertise in equine internal medicine. You will work closely with our surgical team as well as collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for our equine patients. A passion for equine health and internal medicine, combined with a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and education, is essential.

Responsibilities:
•    Diagnose and treat complex medical cases in equine patients, particularly in emergency and critical care settings.
•    Perform diagnostic procedures, such as ultrasound, endoscopy, and advanced imaging, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
•    Collaborate closely with the surgical team to provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
•    Provide teaching and mentorship to hospital veterinarians, interns, and veterinary students, sharing knowledge and expertise in equine internal medicine.
•    Work closely with referring veterinarians and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications:
•    Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from a recognized veterinary school.
•    Board certification or eligibility in Equine Internal Medicine.
•    Experience with diagnosing and treating emergency and critical care cases in horses.
•    Proficiency in diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, endoscopy, and imaging.
•    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a positive attitude.
•    Focused, detail-oriented, flexible, and willingness to learn.
•    Strong work ethic and a team player.
•    Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
